A natural spectacle in a class of its own are the Engstligen Waterfalls rushing down 600 meters.

On board comfortable vedette boats, you will see the splendid setting of Lake Brenets and the superb 27 metre-high Saut-du-Doubs waterfall.

The Giessbach Falls are among Switzerland"s loveliest waterfalls. The huge masses of water plunging down over 14 levels of rock into the lake of Brienz is a magnificent natural spectacle.

People were fascinated by the 300 m high Staubbach Falls as early as the Middle Ages. The milky-white waters thundering down over dark green rocks have inspired painters, poets and travel writers over the centuries.

In the Lauterbrunnen Valley there is a waterfall that crashes to the ground below in 5 cascades that are 750 meters high.

The ten cascades of the Trümmelbach Falls lie behind a wall of stone. Once inside, one can admire the melting snow waters of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Magnificent natural spectacles are offer by Lenks's Water Synphony, including foaming rapids of the Simme River, roaring waterfalls and the multi-tonals plashing of the Simmen source.

The Bavona Valley, defined by houses and hamlets built from the same grey granite as can be seen on the rock, is only inhabited for six months of the year.
